Paynesville, Liberia: September 5, 2025 – The Paynesville City Corporation (PCC) regrets the unfortunate incident involving one of its City Police officers and a commercial tricycle (Kehkeh) rider, which resulted in injury to Officer David Johnson.
Officer David is currently undergoing medical treatment at a local clinic in Paynesville City, while the manhunt for the unnamed perpetrator is ongoing by both the Paynesville City Police and the Liberian National Police.
The management of the Paynesville City Corporation thanked the Liberian National Police for the initial assistance as the manhunt continued.
The City government of Paynesville assured the public of its commitment to upholding the rule of law while executing its mandate within the city limits of Paynesville.
