A remarkable young student, Divine Victor Koffa, is on track to graduate from high school at just 13 years old, an extraordinary academic achievement that is drawing admiration from his community and beyond.
Divine, currently a prospective graduate of the James N. Davies Seventh-day Adventist (S.D.A) High School in Paynesville for the 2024/2025 academic year, has impressed teachers, classmates, and family with his consistent excellence and dedication to learning.
Born on January 23, 2012, in Doe Community, Divine began his educational journey at the tender age of three at the Belinie Christian Foundation School in the Neezoe community. During the 2015/2016 academic year, he excelled early on, achieving a stunning 99 average, a performance that would set the tone for his academic path.
Throughout his nursery, elementary, and junior high years, Divine continued to earn distinction grades ~ often scoring between 98 and 99 ~ leading to five double promotions based on academic merit. In 2021/2022, he entered senior high school and enrolled at the James N. Davies S.D.A High School the following academic year.
Now awaiting results from the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), Divine is already setting his sights on higher education. He aspires to study Biology and Chemistry at the university level, with a long-term goal of attending medical school to become a doctor.
His father, Maximmillian N. Koffa, is appealing to the public for support to help Divine pursue his dreams immediately.
“We are seeking support from friends who care, and from people of goodwill, to be a blessing to Divine,” he wrote. “He has proven himself over and over, and now he needs help to take the next step toward becoming a medical doctor.”
