The CEO of the KunCare Foundation, Cllr. Kun Teh, has announced plans to supply cocoa seedlings to farmers in River Gee County this year. The initiative, aimed at empowering local farmers and boosting agricultural productivity, is expected to benefit 100 farmers.
Last year, 50 farmers received cocoa seedlings through the foundation’s efforts, enabling them to establish their own farms and create sustainable sources of income.
Cllr. Kun Teh emphasized that his primary goal is to support farmers who lack the means to access cocoa seedlings on their own. Through this donation, he hopes to encourage self-employment and enhance economic opportunities within the county.
