In a troubling turn of events, an 18-year-old boy named Abraham Miller from the drug-known community of Gorgbahn in Wayzohn City, Grand Bassa County, has been arrested and forwarded to court for being in possession of illicit drugs. The arrest, which took place on August 20, 2025, has raised concerns among local residents about the prevalence of drug-related activities in their community.
According to initial investigations and Miller’s personal testimony, the arrest occurred after he and his friends had finished practicing and decided to partake in drug use at their usual spot. It was during this time that Miller was caught with kush hidden under the mortar he had been sitting on. The LDEA swiftly intervened and apprehended him for his involvement in illegal drug activities.
Miller, who is just 18 years old, now faces charges under sections 14.85 and 14.86 of the drug law, which specifically address the unlicensed possession, sale, and distribution of controlled drugs or substances. The LDEA is working diligently to combat drug-related crimes in the area and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
The arrest of Abraham Miller serves as a stark reminder of the dangers associated with drug use and distribution, especially among young individuals in vulnerable communities.
