A thorough investigation by Verity News uncovered and revealed how a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by the Deputy Minister for Youth Development of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. J. Bryant McGill
The alleged victim is the daughter of the Deputy Chief of Security of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Multiple audios obtained by this paper, including an audio where the victim’s father is heard explaining how his daughter was sexually abused, confirm the alleged rape incident.
Speaking to Verity News few minutes ago, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Cllr. Jeror Cole Bangulu, confirmed the rape allegation against his Deputy for Youth Development.
Minister Bangulu said that the Liberia National Police (LNP) has already taken full charge of the situation as he vowed to take administrative action as soon as possible.
“Yes, we can confirm the report by Verity News. The case is now with the police. Investigation is ongoing. At the Ministry under my watch, there is zero tolerance for unethical behavior, especially sexual misconduct. We are not taking this lightly. There will be administrative action as soon as possible,” Minister Bangulu told Verity News.
