The murder trial of Sam Worlobah, widely known in the press as the “Fake Doctor,” is set to reach its conclusion today at Criminal Court “B” within the First Judicial Circuit for Montserrado County.
The court, currently in its August Term, has scheduled a pre-sentencing and final ruling for this Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Temple of Justice on Capitol Hill.
A formal Notice of Assignment, issued on September 30 and signed by Clerk of Court Amos Wucummings, instructed both the prosecution and defense teams to appear for the crucial session.
The case is being presided over by His Honor, Judge Wesseh A. Wesseh Sr.

Worlobah was indicted by the Republic of Liberia through the Ministry of Justice on charges of murder.
Though specific details surrounding the crime remain sealed by court order, the case has stirred public concern due to the allegations that Worlobah posed as a medical professional at the time of the incident.
Representing the state is Atty. Bendu Kpoto from the Office of the County Attorney. The defendant is being represented by the Office of the Public Defense for Montserrado County, ensuring Worlobah’s constitutional right to legal representation.
Court officers were directed to deliver the notice to all involved parties, mandating their presence for today’s hearing.
The outcome will determine whether the court proceeds with sentencing or rules otherwise based on the findings.
As the courtroom prepares for what could be the final chapter of this widely followed case, public attention remains fixed on Judge Wesseh’s bench.
The ruling could bring closure to a legal battle that has captivated national discourse for months.
