The THT Esther B. Davis School has once again proven its academic strength as they emerged victorious in the semi-final round of the Back-to-School Inter Junior High Quizzing Competition, hosted by the Kingdom Faith Foundation.
In a highly competitive and intense match, team captain JEREMIAH KOFFA of Esther B. Davis showcased exceptional brilliance especially in the Social Studies category which secured a narrow but well-deserved win over a tough opponent, Yaya Keita of Johnsonville. The victory now propels THT Esther B. Davis straight into the Grand Finale, scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Kingdom Faith School campus behind the Super Market.
Speaking after the match, the head of the school Esther B Davis High School Veteran Ramsay, described the semi-final as a “very difficult one,” but credited the victory to his team’s dedication, strategic preparation, and his 16+ years of experience in quizzing.
Looking ahead to the final against Tomorrow People Foundation School, he acknowledged the challenge ahead, noting that their rivals are highly experienced. However, he assured supporters that he will apply new tactics, more effort, and intense preparation as the team pushes for their first academic trophy of the year.
Mr. Ramsay extended heartfelt appreciation to the hardworking team, the student body, and the loyal fans who turned out in their numbers to cheer the school to victory.
