Prominent businessman Ben B. Moses, also known as BB Moses, is facing allegations of embezzling millions of U.S. and Liberian dollars from several businesspeople and community financial institutions in Electoral District #4, Grand Bassa County.
Mr. Money Sweet, president of the Whroazohn Saving Club, told local media that Moses had promised to distribute funds to members on November 29, 2025, but failed to appear, leaving the group unable to access their money and causing widespread financial distress.
Sweet said the club had considered seizing Moses’ properties to recover the funds, but Access Bank had already placed a claim on the assets, complicating recovery efforts.
Local financial entities are now appealing to the public for information on Moses’ whereabouts, calling for accountability and justice in the alleged embezzlement case.
