The Liberian leader, H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, who is also a fan of Arsenal Football Club, has extolled goalkeeper David Raya Martín for his stellar performance in recent times, while admonishing his cabinet ministers to double up in public sector performance.

Who is Raya?
Birthed on September 15, 1995 in Spain, Raya is a Barcelona-born goalie who initially joined Arsenal from Brentford on loan in 2023. He made a permanent transfer from West London in summer 2024. He is a two-season ‘Save of the Month’ stopper in August 2024 and March 2025. Raya was named in PFA Team of the Season in 2023/2024.
