By Matalay S. Kollie

The appointment of Josephine Zogbaye as Stipendiary Magistrate of the Salala Magisterial Court under the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court has sparked celebrations among journalists and residents across Bong County and Liberia at large.

Magistrate Zogbaye’s rise from journalism to the judiciary has been described as a remarkable journey marked by dedication, perseverance, and service to the nation.

Before joining the legal profession, she worked with the Cuttington University Broadcast System in Suakoko District and later at Radio Gbarnga, where she gained recognition as a prominent news caster.

Her latest appointment comes following the successful completion of her legal studies at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law.

Many of her colleagues in the media have praised the achievement, describing it as an inspiration to young Liberians aspiring to transition from journalism into other professional fields through hard work and education.
