NTA Receives Final Batch of 60 Fleet to Boost Public Transportation

MONROVIA – The National Transit Authority (NTA) has received the final batch of 60 vehicles procured by the Government of Liberia through ABK Solutions, as part of efforts to improve public transportation across the country.

According to Deputy Managing Director Melvin Togar Cephas, the latest delivery includes 20 mini-buses and five cargo trucks, completing an earlier consignment of 35 mass transit buses.

The full fleet is expected to significantly enhance the operations of the National Transit Authority, improving mobility and easing transportation challenges nationwide.

Cephas expressed appreciation to the Government of Liberia and partners for the initiative, noting that the agency is also preparing for future projects, including the digitalization of transit services and the procurement of an additional 46 mass transit buses.

He emphasized that with these developments, the NTA is entering a new phase of transformation aimed at modernizing public transport services across Liberia.
