Rep. Marvin Cole Expresses Interest in Liberia’s Vice Presidency

MONROVIA – Bong County Electoral District #3 Representative J. Marvin Cole has publicly expressed his desire to become Liberia’s Vice President in the 2029 elections.

Speaking during a public engagement, Rep. Cole said his ambition is to serve as Vice President, arguing that if the current Vice President, Jeremiah Kpan Koung, from Nimba County, could attain the office, he also believes he is qualified to do so.

“The real thing in my heart is to become Vice President,” Cole said, adding that he considers himself “more educated” and “more handsome” than the incumbent Vice President.

Cole’s remarks come as political discussions and early positioning ahead of the 2029 general elections continue to gain momentum, although political parties have yet to officially begin their nomination processes.
