The Commander of Police Depot One in Gbarnga, Morhafee Jabateh, has confirmed the arrest of five individuals accused of stealing chickens from a poultry farm.
According to Commander Jabateh, the suspects allegedly stole 17 chickens from the Gbokuinema Rich Farm poultry and transported them to Gbarnga, where they intended to sell them.
The five suspects are spending their first night in police custody and are expected to be forwarded to court tomorrow to face prosecution.
