This paper reported six days ago that the Deputy Director for Operations of the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA), Mark Egon Kuiah, was directly linked to the over US$300 million drug bust and picked up by the Liberia National Police (LNP). A day after our report, Deputy Director Kuiah quickly released a statement to various media outlets, terming our report as “false and misleading.” As usual, this is what they often do whenever Verity News release investigative findings.
Today, specifically about nine (9) hours ago, President Boakai dismissed Deputy Director Kuiah for his link to and facilitation of the Drug Cartel.
