Monrovia – A security officer at the United Methodist University (UMU) has become an inspiration to students and staff after achieving an impressive 3.33 Grade Point Average (GPA) while pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.
Grace M. Sims, who serves as a security officer at the university, earned the outstanding academic performance through dedication and perseverance, successfully balancing the demands of full-time employment with her studies.
Before joining UMU, Sims worked as a housemaid before transitioning into the security profession. She served as a night security officer with Sega Security Corporation and later worked as a security officer at Aqualife Mineral Water in the Red Hill Field Community, Brewerville City.
Driven by a desire to further her education and improve the lives of her family and loved ones, Sims enrolled at United Methodist University with a clear vision of building a brighter future.
Her determination has earned her the admiration of many students on campus. She is frequently seen carrying books and studying during her free time while remaining committed to her responsibilities as a security officer.
