Monrovia – Margibi County Senator Nathaniel F. McGill has expressed deep concern over the state of the nation, declaring that Liberia is “bleeding” and calling on God to intervene.
In a brief statement shared publicly, Senator McGill said, “The nation is bleeding. God, please have mercy on us and intervene.”
Although the senator did not specify the issue that prompted his remarks, the statement comes amid growing national debate over governance, security, allegations surrounding illicit drugs, and other socio-political developments.
McGill’s comments have since attracted public attention on social media, with many Liberians offering differing interpretations of his message.
The former Minister of State remains one of the country’s prominent opposition figures and has frequently commented on national issues affecting Liberia.
