GBARNGA, Bong County — A man suspected of being under the influence of alcohol has allegedly damaged the official Land Cruiser of the Bong County Education Officer in Gbarnga.
The incident reportedly occurred near the LIS, popularly known as the Iron Gate Checkpoint, where the suspect allegedly approached the vehicle and used a rock to break its front windshield.
Police later took the man into custody, with reports indicating that he continued to show signs of intoxication. Bong County Police Operations Officer, Superintendent Chris N. Gono, who responded to the scene, reportedly found bottles of Pastie in the suspect’s possession.
Police are expected to conduct further investigations into the incident as authorities work to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged damage.
