Hon. Magdalene Ellen Dagoseh is no longer hiding her senatorial ambition for 2029. She and her team have intensified their mobilization and recruitment exercises across Grand Bassa County. It is also becoming clear that she could secure the full endorsement of two powerful political brands in Bassa politics: Sen. Gbehzohngar Findley and Superintendent Karyou Johnson.
In the last senatorial election between Pro-Temp Karnga-Lawrence and Senator Findley, Senator Karnga-Lawrence won with 22,476 (42.01) while Senator Findley got 20,346 (38.03%). This is a margin of 2,130 votes (3.98%). With a 42.01% win, this means that 57.99% of the voters rejected Senator Karnga-Lawrence in Grand Bassa. Besides, Senator Karnga-Lawrence won on the Collaborating Political Party (CPP) ticket, a combination of four political parties: the UP, the LP, the ANC, and the ALP. The CPP arrangement no longer exists. Furthermore, Pro-Temp Karnga-Lawrence has been in power since 2013. Giving her another term in 2029 would keep her in power for about 25 years.
Another ally of Hon. Dagoseh is Superintendent Karyou Johnson. Supt. Johnson has become more popular and loved by Bassalians due to his ongoing vision and developmental projects across Grand Bassa. He is being labelled by the people as the best developmental superintendent ever in the history of Grand Bassa.
If Sen. Gbehzohngar Findley and Superintendent Karyou Johnson continue to align with Hon. Dagoseh and finally endorse her in the end for 2029, this tripartite alliance could significantly jeopardize and potentially end the return of Senate Pro-Temp Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence to Capitol Hill after the 2029 elections.
Verity News reporter in Grand Bassa conducted a random survey. Eight (
in ten (10) citizens of Grand Bassa believe that Senator Pro-Temp Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence and Senator Darius Dillon are responsible for the removal of Hon. Magdalene Dagoseh as Minister of Commerce.
