“We appeal to all clubs, players, and supporters to uphold the principles of sportsmanship and mutual respect that define the beautiful game. Football is meant to unite us, and our collective responsibility is to ensure it remains a safe and welcoming space for everyone involved,” the LFA statement read.

The association concluded its statement by reaffirming that football should continue to be a source of pride, inspiration, and enjoyment for all Liberians.
