The Auditor General of Liberia, Mr. P. Garswa Jackson, has been invited as a panelist by the OECD and the Office of the Auditor General of Peru to attend two high-level international anti-corruption forums.
Mr. Jackson will first participate in the International Summit on Fighting against Corruption, scheduled for 19 and 20 February 2026 in Lima, Peru.
The summit, organized by the Office of the Comptroller General of Peru and the Latin American and Caribbean Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS), aims to provide a platform for dialogue and the exchange of experiences on tools, strategies, and actions that Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) are implementing to prevent and detect corruption.
During the summit, Mr. Jackson will serve as a panelist in High-Level Table 2, entitled “From traditional control to intelligent control: data and technology in service of the fight against transnational corruption.” Organizers highlighted that his participation is expected to enrich discussions on strengthening integrity policies and promoting transparency and accountability across borders.
Following the Lima summit, Mr. Jackson has also been invited to the 2026 Auditors Alliance meeting, part of the Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum, which will take place from 23 to 27 March 2026 at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris, France.
He will contribute to the session titled “Follow up of Audit Recommendations: Communicating Findings that Drive Real Change” on 26 March from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM.
The Paris forum, with the theme The Integrity Advantage: powering competitiveness and prosperity, will explore how effective integrity systems safeguard resources while boosting performance, investment, and inclusive growth.
The event will bring together global leaders from government, business, and civil society to discuss innovations in anti-corruption, regulatory excellence, and technology-driven fraud prevention.
The Organizers emphasized Mr. Jackson’s expertise and recent innovations in audit follow-up as critical to advancing actionable recommendations and accountability.
In accepting these invitations, Mr. Jackson continues to solidify Liberia’s role in the global fight against corruption and demonstrates the country’s commitment to promoting transparency and good governance at the highest international levels.
