Kolahun, Lofa County – The Association of the Gbandi Land in America (AGLA) has made a significant contribution to the healthcare system in the Gbandi chiefdom by donating essential medical materials to Kolahun Hospital. This donation comes as part of AGLA’s commitment to enhancing health care and ensuring the well-being of citizens in the region.
During the donation ceremony, representatives from AGLA presented the medical supplies to Dr. Vamuyan Koroma, the medical doctor at Kolahun Hospital. In his remarks, Dr. Koroma expressed heartfelt gratitude towards AGLA for their generous support, emphasizing the critical role that such contributions play in improving health services within the chiefdom and the surrounding areas.
“This donation is not just about materials; it represents hope and a commitment to better healthcare for our community,” Dr. Koroma stated. The ceremony was also attended by prominent leaders, including Paramount Chief Hon. Jallah Manjoe and Kolahun District Commissioner Hon. Joseph K. Yakoi.
