A Liberian woman has lodged a formal complaint against Triple MS Medical and Surgical Clinic, alleging serious medical negligence following a botched surgical procedure.
Assata Kromah, the complainant, claims she visited the clinic after experiencing abdominal pain and bleeding. According to her letter which is in the possession of this paper, she underwent surgery and paid in full for the procedure. However, instead of recovering, her condition reportedly worsened in the days following the operation that was conducted by one Dr. Musa Zuanah.
Kromah further alleges that the clinic failed to provide adequate follow-up care despite her deteriorating condition. She is now demanding a full investigation into the conduct of the clinic and holding Dr. Zuanah fully accountable for what she describes as gross negligence.
“I trusted them with my health and my life,” Kromah stated in her letter. “Now I’m left in worse condition and with no proper support.” Kromah accused Dr. Zuanah of turning his back on her after allegedly damaging her.
Till the time of publication, officials from Triple MS Medical and Surgical Clinic have not responded to the allegations.
The case raises broader concerns about patient safety and the quality of care in local health facilities, prompting calls for stricter oversight and regulatory enforcement in the country’s private healthcare sector.
