Buchanan, Grand Bassa County –The headquarters of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) Grand Bassa Chapter has been taken over by a new tenant, leaving the local branch of the party without an official office space.
The building, previously used by CDC for its political operations in the county, has now been handed over to Commerce Minister Magdalene Dagoseh. It will serve as the operational base for her foundation, according to local reports.
Sources say CDC officials entered discussions with the building’s owner, Mr. Sylvester Taylor, in hopes of maintaining their tenancy. However, those efforts were reportedly unsuccessful, as Mr. Taylor declined to renew their arrangement.
With the takeover now complete, Minister Dagoseh’s foundation has officially assumed control of the facility, raising questions about CDC’s next move in securing a new headquarters in the county. Party members have yet to comment on the development.
