The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) has announced October 18, 2025, as the official date for the groundbreaking ceremony of its new national party headquarters, to be constructed along the Boulevard route in Congo Town, Monrovia.

According to party officials, the multi-purpose headquarters project valued at approximately US$1.6 million is expected to be completed within six months one year. The initiative marks a new phase in the CDC’s efforts to strengthen its institutional presence both in Monrovia and across Liberia.

Speaking to reporters, cllr. J Fonati Koffa CDC party headquarters construction committee Chairman emphasized that while the new site is relatively smaller than the party’s previous headquarters, it represents a significant step toward modernization and decentralization.

Chairman Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, who heads the CDC Headquarters Construction Committee, disclosed that the party has already acquired land in Barclayville, Grand Kru County, and several other parts of Liberia as part of its long-term expansion plan.

“We’ve already secured land in a number of counties,” Cllr. Koffa stated. “Our vision is to ensure that every single county has a CDC headquarters a physical and symbolic presence of our party’s commitment to the people.”

The upcoming groundbreaking ceremony is expected to draw senior party executives, lawmakers, county chairpersons, and supporters from across the country.
