Voinjama, Lofa County – The Citizens Action Committee (CAC) of Voinjama District is demanding justice in the case of the late Yarkpowolo Moisemah, who died under what the group describes as suspicious circumstances.
In a public statement issued this week, the CAC announced a series of planned actions to draw attention to their demands. The committee stated that all market activities in John’s Town, Bondi Clan, will be suspended on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Additionally, on Friday, September 26, 2025, all schools, business centers, and markets in Voinjama City will be shut down as part of the protest.
The CAC declared that “no police presence will deter” their actions, vowing to continue demonstrations until justice is served. The group is calling on local authorities to launch a thorough investigation into Moisemah’s death and ensure accountability.
The planned protest highlights growing frustration within the community over what residents see as a lack of transparency in the case. The CAC is urging all citizens of Voinjama District to stand in solidarity as they seek answers and justice for the deceased.
