The Communication Officer in the office of Protemp Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence has expressed his disappointment over the discouraging attitudes of the leadership and members of the Unity Party Bassa Chapter.
Roland Solomon Glay, speaking in an exclusive interview today with Verity News, said despite some individuals neglecting the Unity Party within the CPP, Protemp Karnga-Lawrence remained firm in supporting President Boakai and the Unity Party.
Glay said it is disheartening to see members and officials of the Unity Party going against a woman who tirelessly worked to bring the UP Government to power, naming his boss lady as a destiny helper for the party.
He highlighted an instance where Senator Karnga-Lawrence was excluded from a county meet launch in Grand Bassa County and replaced by Minister Magdalene Dagosah.
The Communication Officer also accused Superintendent Karyou Johnson and his followers of posting Minister Magdalene Dagosah as the “New Face of Bassa” on their official Facebook pages where there is still an existing face, describing it as impersonation.
Glay called on Unity Party officials to reflect on the work Senator Lawrence did for for them and urged them to change their attitudes towards her, emphasized the importance of acknowledging Protemp Lawrence’s contributions and reciprocate same.
