On April 4, 2026, the Ministry of Education received a contribution of USD 3,000 from the Diaspora Annual Return of Liberia initiative, in support of the national School Feeding Program.
Led by Chairperson Dr. Clarice Ford-Kulah and Committee Member Madam Lois Harris, the delegation reaffirmed the diaspora’s commitment to improving learning conditions for Liberian children.
Receiving the contribution, Minister Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah emphasized that school feeding remains a critical driver of enrollment, attendance, and learning outcomes, particularly for vulnerable learners.
The Ministry will apply this support toward ongoing efforts to strengthen and sustain school feeding interventions across the country.
