Brewerville, Montserrado County – The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), working in collaboration with joint security forces, has seized a major consignment of narcotics valued at thousands of United States dollars in Brewerville, District #17.
According to the LDEA, the raid took place in the Peaceland Community, Jah Tondo Town, where officers discovered 23 large bags of illicit drugs, including “kush,” from the residence of a man identified only as Muhammed Osman.
Two suspects were arrested during the operation and are currently in custody as investigations continue.
Authorities say the seizure marks one of the largest drug busts in the area in recent months, and they have vowed to intensify the fight against drug trafficking and abuse in Montserrado County and beyond.
The joint security has meanwhile assured residents that they remain committed to protecting communities from the growing wave of illicit drug trade that has been fueling crime and substance abuse among Liberian youth.
