A former Mighty Barrolle Vice President, Roseline Hunter-Konneh, has been appointed by football’s world governing body for a term of four years.
Roseline will serve as one of 25 members of the Fifa women’s football development committee from 2025 to 2029.
One of the many responsibilities of the committee is to oversee women’s football development program, which aims to provide all 211 member associations with the opportunity to apply for and access additional resources and specialist expertise to develop women’s football at a national level.
France’s Laura Georges chairs the committee while Central African Republic’s Olive Dol-Somse is the co-chairperson.
Fifa Council member Johanna Wood of New Zealand is a delegate to the committee.
Roseline’s preferment was contained in several appointments made during a FIFA Council meeting in Zurich, Switzerland on 2 October.
She has been a passionate Barrolle fan for 30 years, having also served as vice president for administration for four years.
Roseline is a member of the technical and youth development committee at the Liberia Football Association.
With a Master of Science degree, Roseline holds a solid 22-year teaching experience at the University of Liberia, lecturing in the department of sociology, anthropology and criminology.
Roseline chairs the social welfare committee of the university’s faculty association (ULFA).
