FC Fassell CEO Cassell Kuoh Unveils Star-Studded Signings and Bold Stadium Plans

FC Fassell’s Chief Executive Officer, Cassell Kuoh, has announced the signing of several notable players, including former and current Lone Star players as well as foreign talents, during a press conference at the club’s headquarters in Monrovia.

This move is part of the club’s strategic plan to revolutionize football in Liberia.

Speaking at the event, Kuoh expressed the club’s commitment to elevating the standard of football in the country. “The FC Fassell family seeks to change the trajectory of football in Liberia,” Kuoh stated.

He emphasized that the experience and skills of the newly signed players would be instrumental in the club’s growth.

Among the new signings are ex-Lone Star players Zah Krangar, Solomon Grimes, Dauda Bortu, and Tonia Tisdell, who will contribute both as players and members of the technical staff.

Their rich experience is expected to bring a new level of professionalism and expertise to the team.

In addition to the local talents, FC Fassell has also signed foreign players from Gambia, Mauritania, and Morocco. Notable among them are Mauritania international midfielder Mustafa Zerif Miliani, Gambia’s Real De Banjul goalkeeper Amed Tigan Savage, and physical trainer Diffa Hassan Al Jadidi from Morocco.

Kuoh hinted that two more foreign players are expected to join the squad before the commencement of the 2024/25 league season, which is set to start in a few weeks.

The unveiling ceremony showcased 15 new players, highlighting the club’s aggressive recruitment strategy.

Among the local signings are Theo Nimely from Watanga FC, who joined on a three-year deal after extensive negotiations, and players from Mighty Barrolle such as Peter Tokpahzee, Armah N. Moore, Sekou Kamara, and Amos Diamgyie. Additional local talents include Vitalis Blamo Sie Jr. from Champion FC and Junious P. Judugbor from NPA.

Moreover, Cassell Kuoh unveiled plans to construct a new stadium for FC Fassell, which will serve as the team’s official home ground.

The stadium project, expected to be completed in approximately eight months, will feature a main pitch, a mini pitch, seating capacity, bathrooms, and changing rooms for home and away teams, all adhering to CAF/FIFA approved standards and safety regulations.

Kuoh reiterated the club’s mission to ensure football reaches its peak in Liberia. “Our goal is to create an environment where football can thrive and bring joy to our fans.

This stadium will be a cornerstone of that vision,” he concluded.

With these bold moves, FC Fassell is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming season and contribute to the overall development of football in Liberia.
