One of Liberia’s major football clubs, FC Fassell has completed a crucial phase for the construction of a new Stadium worth over US $4 million.
The club completed a successful soil testing done by AS GRASS; an Eminent Turkish construction company known for its leading expertise in building high-quality sports facilities.
FC Fassell, established in 2009, carried its first club title in 2014, which was the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Cup.
A release issued on Thursday, August 22, 2024, quotes the Club President and CEO Anthony Kuoh, as saying the construction of the stadium it’s not just a statement of intent but it is a vision to create a world-class facility that will not only serve as home ground FC Fassell but it will help to elevate the standard of football in Liberia.
“This is not just a stadium, it’s a statement of intent. Our vision is to create a world-class facility that not only serves as the home ground for FC Fassell but also elevates the standard of Football in Liberia. The completion of soil testing by AS Grass is a critical first step in making this dream a reality,” Kuoh emphasized.
This State-of-Art Stadium is an investment worth 4.5 million dollars.
The soil testing process involved a critical analysis of the ground condition to ensure a good outcome for the stadium. The approval of AS GRASS on the soil testing guarantees a long-lasting foundation.
This milestone marks the beginning of what will be a transformative process for both the club and the nation’s Infrastructure. The stadium is set to become a beacon of hope for football excellence in Liberia and beyond.
