Monrovia, Liberia — In the face of Liberia’s high unemployment rate, a young female electrician, Antoinette T. Hinneh, is making strides by building her own business and encouraging others to support local enterprises.
Speaking to Verity News via WhatsApp, Hinneh shared her journey into the electrical field and how determination and training helped her establish Anto Voltaria Solutions, a growing local electrical service provider in Montserrado County.
Hinneh explained that her passion for electrical work began during her high school years. After graduating, she enrolled in a three-month vocational training program, where she acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge in electricity.
“After the training, I worked with my instructor to gain more hands-on experience,” she said. “I later attended the Monrovia Vocational Training Center (MVTC), where I participated in an entrepreneurship program. Through this program, I received support that helped me start my own electrical business.”
Now operating her own company, Hinneh provides a range of services including wiring, installation, and maintenance within her community. She emphasized her commitment to safety and quality in every project she undertakes.
“I provide safe and reliable electrical services,” she noted. “I am passionate about my work and committed to delivering quality, safe electrical solutions.”
