Authorities of the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) have finally confirmed an investigative report released by Verity News on Saturday, March 14, 2026, which revealed the arrest of the Deputy Immigration Border Commander for Grand Cape Mount County, Mr. Randy P. Z. Tuweh.
Speaking to Verity News, LIS said, “Yes, we can confirm that Deputy Commander Randy P. Z. Tuweh was arrested by the Sierra Leone Drug Enforcement Agency in Jedema, Sierra Leone, after he was allegedly found with drugs, specifically 600 strips of Tapentadol Tramadol.”
LIS said Tuweh is being investigated by the Sierra Leonean authorities, and they, too, have also dispatched an investigative team to the border for further inquiries.
