Abidjan, Ivory Coast – Former Liberian President George Manneh Weah Sr. has met with President Alassane Ouattara of the Republic of Ivory Coast for talks aimed at strengthening ties and promoting unity in Africa.
According to sources close to the meeting, the two leaders had a warm conversation centered on working together for a better future for the region and the continent as a whole.
“Thanks for coming over to see me, my son, and safe travels to the Republic of Liberia,” President Ouattara told Mr. Weah during the visit.
Since leaving office, former President Weah has continued to keep close relations with fellow African leaders, engaging with those he had the opportunity to work with during his presidency.
