The Commissioner of Police for Crime Services, Mr. Johnny Dean, has confirmed that the fourth suspect connected to the alleged murder of Austin Tengeeh has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service.
Speaking during a telephone interview on the Morning Watch program of the Liberia National Police, Commissioner Dean disclosed that the Liberia National Police has been duly informed by its Ghanaian counterpart that all suspects linked to the case have been arraigned before a court in Ghana.
He explained that both police institutions have remained engaged throughout the investigation, stressing that the Ghana Police Service has been very cooperative in sharing information with the Liberia National Police.
Commenting on reactions from nationals of both countries, Commissioner Dean said some comments circulating on social media are troubling. He emphasized that the Ghana Police Service is doing its job in ensuring that the suspects are brought before the law.
Commissioner Dean called on citizens of both Liberia and Ghana to exercise restraint and allow the legal process to take its course.
