Gray, Kowo, Tweah, Koijee, and Finda Excluded from CDC Building Committee

MONROVIA – The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) has announced the formation of a special committee to spearhead the construction of its new headquarters, but the decision has sparked internal debate after several prominent party figures were left out.

Noticeably absent from the committee are Chairman Janga Kowo, Former Representative Acarous Moses Gray, former Finance Minister Samuel D. Tweah, Former Mayor and Secretary General Jefferson T. Koijee, and former Chief of Protocol Finda Bundoo, all of whom have been close allies of CDC Political Leader George Weah and have played significant roles in the party’s growth and influence over the years.

Most especially, political pundits have taken keen note of the exclusion of the party chairman Kowo and SG Koijee who should be the by far the most powerful executive committee members of the party.

Considering the historical significance of this project, the exclusion of these five top brass has raised eyebrows within the CDC, with many questioning whether this marks a quiet rift between these senior figures and former President George M. Weah, the party’s standard bearer.

In particular, the omission of Rep. Gray has fueled speculation. Despite being one of CDC’s most vocal and loyal partisans since its founding, Gray was not considered for the committee overseeing a project that is expected to become a historic landmark in the party’s legacy.

Like him or not, Gray has remained one of the most devoted CDCians. To leave him out of such a historic project seems unfair,” a party insider told this paper, expressing disappointment that his name would not be written into the party’s history at this pivotal moment.

The party has yet to officially comment on the reasoning behind the exclusions, but the development has already stirred conversations among CDC supporters about internal dynamics and future alignments ahead of the party’s next major political moves.
