Journalist Kangar Named Red Carpet Host for Miss Margibi 2025 Grand Finale

Kakata, Margibi County — In a major boost to local media and entertainment in Margibi County, the organizing committee of the Miss Margibi 2025 Beauty Pageant has officially announced journalist Emmanuel M. Kangar, Jr. as the red carpet host for the pageant’s highly anticipated Grand Finale.

Kangar, a prominent journalist affiliated with Verity Newspaper and Radio Peace, is set to lead the red-carpet segment of the event, which will take place on Friday, August 30, 2025, at the iconic Kakata Cinema in Kakata City. His selection is being widely celebrated as a move that highlights the growing influence of Margibi’s media personalities in the county’s cultural and entertainment spaces.

Currently serving as Vice President of the Margibi Young Journalists Association (MaYJA), Kangar has carved a name for himself in the county’s media landscape. He is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Voices Liberia 2024 Emerging Journalist of the Year, Margibi Golden Achievement Award 2024 for Best Talk Show Host, and On-Air Personality of the Year, among others.
