BUU- YAO, D#5, NIMBA COUNTY – With exactly two weeks to the representative by-election in Nimba district #5, Senator Samuel Kogar has announced that he will not support any candidate in the race.
Sen. Kogar’s decision is in complete contravention of his political party ~ The Movement for Democracy and Reconstruction ( MDR) decision to support Kortor Kwagrue as its lone candidate in the heavily contested by-election.
Speaking to reporters at his Ganta residence, Sen. Kogar said, his decision to remain neutral is predicated upon the support that all those running in the race gave him during the past senatorial by-elections.
In an effort to maintain his nutrility, the three times elected Representative of Buu Yao District turned Senator of Nimba county, has disclosed that he will not enter district five until the by-election is over.
He refuted allegations that his decision not to support the MDR candidate is based on a foundational problem he has with the individual.
