The campaign coordinating committee of Cassell Anthony Kuoh, Sr. for the presidency of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) officially welcomes the recent decision by the Civil Law Court to place an injunction on all electoral activities of the LFA.
Presiding Judge Peter Gbeneweleh has suspended all electoral proceedings pending the outcome of a petition for declaratory judgment filed by legal counsel representing Mr. Kuoh.
We believe this judicial intervention provides a critical opportunity for the court to ensure that the electoral guidelines conform not just to the LFA statutes but as well as the constitution and laws of the Republic of Liberia.
The campaign coordinating committee has officially informed the global football governing body, FIFA, of the court’s action.
We express our sincere appreciation to FIFA for its consistent respect for the laws of member nations and for the independent, stabilizing role the federation continues to play in association elections worldwide.
We extend our profound appreciation to our candidate, Mr. Cassell Anthony Kuoh, Sr., for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to justice and transparency within Liberian football.
We also commend our dedicated legal team for their tireless efforts in safeguarding the rights of Mr. Kuoh and all football stakeholders.
