Ganta, Nimba County – A 42-year-old Liberian woman named Lisa Dennis was apprehended on August 16, 2025, after being found in possession of 1 kilogram of compressed marijuana.
The arrest occurred during a routine patrol by LDEA officers in the Glenyeluu Community of Ganta City.
The confiscated marijuana is estimated to have a street value of $100, which is approximately LRD 19,300.
Lisa Dennis is currently facing an investigation at the LDEA office in Ganta and is awaiting trial in court.
The LDEA has reiterated its dedication to fighting against the illegal drug trade and encourages the community to assist in these efforts.
