Liberia National Police to charge new service fees for job, travel, name clearing, and missing passport clearances as of May 1

“IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE

( April 6,2026)

The Liberia National Police in collaboration with the Liberia Revenue Authority, informs

the public that a new online system for Police Clearance will take effect as of May 1, 2026.

As a result of the new system, new service fees will be charged.

The approved fees for various services are as follows:

1. Job Clearance: Liberians- Regular: US$10.00, Express: US$20.00

ECOWAS Citizens Regular: US$50.00, Express US$100.00 and

Non-ECOWAS Citizens Regular USS150.00, Express US$300.00

2. Travel Clearance: Liberians- Regular: US$20.00, Express: US$40.00 ECOWAS Citizens

Regular: US$50.00, Express: US$100.00 and

Non-ECOWAS Citizens Regular: US$100.00 Express: USS200.00.

3. Name Check: Liberians Regular: US$10.00 Express US$20.00,

ECOWAS Citizens Regular: US$50.00 Express: US$100.00

Non-ECOWAS Citizens Regular: US$100.00 Express: USS 200.00

4. Missing Passport: Liberians – Regular: US$10.00, Express: USS 20.00 ECOWAS Citizens

Regular: US$40.00 Express: USS 80.00 and

Non-ECOWAS Citizens Regular: US$100.00 Express: US$200.00

As of May 1, 2026, the above-mentioned services will be available on the Liberia National

Police website at www.lnp.gov.lr. To access these services on the LNP website, click on

Police Clearnce.

Note: All payments will be done in USD or its Liberian Dollars equivalent.

The public is kindly advised to take note of these changes and ensure full compliance when

accessing these services.
