The Consulate of the Republic of Liberia in New York has officially welcomed its newly appointed Consul General, Prof. Dr. Thomas Saidy-Bah Kaydor, marking a new chapter in Liberia’s diplomatic engagement with the United States and the international community.
Prof. Dr. Kaydor arrived at his post on July 14, 2025, and was received with great enthusiasm by consulate staff, members of the Liberian diaspora, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
His appointment brings seasoned experience in diplomacy, international relations, and public service to one of Liberia’s most strategically important foreign missions.
