The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, is enhancing transparency and accountability by publishing development assistance programs and projects for the first time on the Liberia Project Dashboard.
The project dashboard serves as an aid information management system designed to collect, analyze, and report data on external assistance programs and projects.
Its launch marks a significant advancement in aid management within Liberia.
According to a Ministry of Finance release dated September 20, 2024, the inclusion of public sector investment programs on the dashboard underscores the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and openness.
Deputy Minister for Economic Management, Dehpue Zuo, emphasized that the dashboard contains information on ongoing and completed government projects funded by both internal and external development assistance.
Minister Zuo noted that this initial publication reflects the government’s dedication to keeping the Liberian public informed about how funds are collected and spent on development initiatives nationwide.
Additionally, details related to the 100-day deliverables and project implementation are also available on the dashboard.
