Prince O. Williams alias Wil Flash, a rising Liberian Afrobeat star, has taken his craft to another level. The young talent has now hit the global spotlight. His latest feature by BBC Africa connected him and his music with an audience of over 100 million people.
Appearing on ‘This Is Africa’, the Liberian Afropop and kolo sensation, whose lyrics remain much-admired in and out of Liberia, thanked his dad, fans, and record label for supporting his career every step of the way.
The SOG Records Empire hitmaker said he was proud to showcase what Liberia is made of; its unique sounds, styles, and colloquia culture (pidgin English). The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) featured Wil Flash alongside with The Gambian-based musician Stargirl.
The artist, who gained public acclamation for two of his hit songs “My Ex” and “Single”, has also been recognized as Audiomack Africa Artist to Watch. At the 2025 MTN Liberia Music Awards (MLMA), Flash bagged three awards: New Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year (“My Ex” ft. CIC), and Afro Pop Song of the Year.
When asked who inspires him, the artist said Divine Ikubor alias ‘Rema is a big inspiration’.
