On Monday, August 11, 2025, heavily armed officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP) barricaded the infamous World Trade Center on Gurley Street in Central Monrovia.
The World Trade Center is notoriously known for producing fake credentials and falsifying documents of all kinds.
According to reports, the police obtained a search and seizure warrant from the court to carry out a massive raid on the World Trade Center in Monrovia.
Multiple sources revealed that the police operation was triggered by a complaint from a senior government official, who alleged that his signature had been forged by individuals at the Center to commit a criminal act.
During the raid, several items were confiscated, including laptops, printers, and other electronic equipment. Authorities also arrested several individuals operating at the Center.
This paper could not independently verify the accounts from multiple sources, as police officers prevented journalists from accessing the scene during the operation.
As of press time, the Liberia National Police had not issued any official statement regarding the raid. Likewise, the leadership of the Center has remained silent on both the raid and the subsequent arrests and confiscations.
