Zwedru, Grand Gedeh – [May 27, 2025] – In alignment with the AAREST agenda aimed at enhancing agricultural activities, the government, through the Ministry of Agriculture, with funding from World Bank has delivered seventeen tricycles to local farmers in Grand Gedeh County.
The event brought together various stakeholders and agricultural representatives.
During the ceremony, Nunu Sharty, the Agriculture Coordinator for Grand Gedeh County, highlighted the government’s commitment to collaborating with local farmers. She urged all recipients to make effective use of the tricycle provided.
Madam Sharty also noted that the Ministry of Agriculture would closely monitor how the tricycles are utilized by the farmers.
Grand Gedeh Development Officer, Davidson Barlee expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture and Partner and encouraged all recipients to leverage the tricycles to enhance their farming efforts.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, Alvin Gbadee, chairman of the Konobo Cooperative Society, thanked the Ministry of Agriculture and its partners for the donation, assuring that the tricycles would be used as intended.
