Hon. Saah H. Joseph

Senator Montserrado County

Capitol Hill, Monrovia Liberia

August 9, 2025

Atty. Janga Augustus Kowo

Acting National Chairman at Congress for

Democratic Change (CDC)

Congo Town, Monrovia, Liberia

Ref: Letter of Resignation

Dear Mr. Kowo,

I am writing to inform you of my decision to resign as a member of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), effective immediately. This decision has not been taken lightly, and I appreciate the opportunities I’ve had to serve our nation through the CDC.

As a grassroots Party founded in 2005 , the CDC has played a pivotal role in Liberian politics, growth and development.

However, I have come to realize that my vision for Liberia’s future and my personal values are no longer aligned with the party’s direction.

I want to express my gratitude to the leadership, members, and supporters of the CDC for their dedication and hard work. I have been honored to serve alongside such a talented and committed group of individuals.

As I move forward, I am committed to continuing my service to the people of Montserrado County and Liberia. I will always cherish the experiences and lessons learned during my time with the CDC.

Thank you for your understanding, and I wish the party continued success in its endeavors.

Sincerely,

Signed: Senator Saah H. Joseph
