The Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) has announced the launch of official engagements focused on social media monetization, marking a milestone for the country’s digital economy.
“For the first time, we’ve commenced a series of meetings aimed at unlocking financial opportunities for Liberia’s vibrant content creators,” the LTA stated, highlighting platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube as key avenues.
According to the LTA, the initiative is expected to bring “hope and excitement” by enabling influencers, artists, and storytellers to earn income from their creativity.
The authority emphasized that monetization will open doors to brand partnerships, greater visibility, and sustainable livelihoods, turning digital passion into profession and amplifying Liberian voices globally.
