MOJ Sends Atty. Jonathan Flomo to International Law Enforcement Training in Botswana

Botswana – The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) of Liberia has dispatched Bong County Attorney Jonathan Flomo to represent the nation at a prestigious international law enforcement training session in Botswana. This training specifically focuses on Wildlife Trafficking Investigation, a pressing issue in the realm of transnational crime.

Atty. Flomo is among participants from over ten African countries, including Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Namibia, and Kenya. The training’s primary goal is to enhance the capabilities of law enforcement officials in effectively combating wildlife trafficking and other related criminal activities.

His involvement underscores Liberia’s dedication to tackling illegal trafficking throughout its borders. The training program is designed to furnish participants with essential skills for investigating wildlife trafficking crimes, enabling them to document evidence, report findings, and enforce relevant laws effectively.

Throughout the course, Atty. Flomo and his fellow participants will engage in practical exercises aimed at honing their investigative techniques. Upon the training’s conclusion, they are expected to share their insights and experiences regarding Liberia’s current strategies in combating illegal trafficking.
