Bong County Senator Prince K. Moye has launched a blistering attack on CMC Political Leader and Representative Musa Hassan Bility, accusing him of political manipulation, financial impropriety, and attempting to use public resources for personal political gain.
In a strongly worded statement on Monday, Senator Moye alleged that Rep. Bility has a history of undermining political processes, citing two previous election cycles.
“Musa Bility is on record for bringing in 50 pickups in 2016, and Brumskine still did not win the election,” Moye said. “He is also on record for bringing Cummings’ numbers down in 2023. I told my colleague not to dance to the tune of Bility he does not see politically.”
Moye further claimed that Bility “indirectly collected” US$10 million that the China Union concession agreement had allocated for Bong County’s social development fund, accusing the Nimba County lawmaker of now attempting to “return some of the money” under the guise of development initiatives.
“He stole the people’s money!” Moye declared, adding that he will formally write Bility to demand the construction of five additional bridges in Bong County as restitution.
The allegations come amid rising political tensions between the two lawmakers, both of whom have been active voices on national governance issues. Bility has not yet publicly responded to Senator Moye’s accusations.
